1000V Firefighter Safety Switch

The 1000V Firefighter Safety Switch , supplied by Chinese manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is a dedicated fire-safety switch designed for 1000V PV systems. It is suitable for commercial rooftops, agricultural greenhouses, and medium-scale ground-mounted plants with power ratings of 20–30 kW and above.

The Photovoltaic Firefighter Safety Switch is designed to meet the fire safety requirements of photovoltaic (PV) systems. In emergency situations, it quickly isolates and disconnects the photovoltaic DC power supply, thereby ensuring the safety of the photovoltaic power generation system. It is suitable for both residential and commercial and industrial photovoltaic power generation systems, with a circuit voltage as high as 1000V, meeting the requirements of high-power photovoltaic power generation systems.

Application scenarios

1. 1000V Firefighter Safety Switches are deployed on low-rise commercial rooftops where the NEC 690.12 fire-code mandate must be met without adding module-level power electronics.  

2. In agricultural greenhouses rated 20-30 kW, the devices let first responders isolate every string from a single 24 V DC controller mounted at ground level, eliminating DC arc risk while crops remain undisturbed.  

3. Ground-mounted car-port strings feeding a 1000 V central inverter use the RSD to provide rapid-shutdown initiation over the existing DC homerun, saving the cost of additional communication wiring.  

4. Retrofit projects that upgrade older 600 V systems to 1000 V benefit from the same footprint: installers replace only the manual switch with the string-level RSD and reuse the original DC cables and inverter.  

5. Industrial warehouse roofs with long east-west split arrays rely on 1-to-2 string controllers (SYFS-PMSC-80K) to drive up to 100 RSD units, ensuring full-array shutdown within 30 s when the emergency button is pressed at the main service entrance.
